There are three main categories of Mohawk Products, some with overlapping items. The three main categories are: (1) Wood finish touch-up, (2) Wood Finishing, and (3) Leather Finish Repair and care. Each of these three categories have a variety of items that overlap. Let's start with one of the most effective and useful tools for the professional wood touch up products. Mohawk Blendal Sticks M340-1200.
This is a must have for every finisher or person in charge of touch-up even if finishing is a hobby. This little color replacement tool is our most commonly used touch-up for doing spot repair and the perfect detail on a wood finish project. This is also an example of why Mohawk is far ahead in the field of wood and wood furniture touch-up.

Mohawk Blendal Sticks are used to add or alter color when repairing and touching up wood. This product allows quick color replacement on raw or finished edges and flat surfaces. Blendal Sticks are a real time saver but, you will still want to keep the Mohawk Blendal Powder around because the Mohawk Blendal Sticks did not put the Mohawk Blendal powder out of business.
You won't need to use your Mohawk Blendal Powders as often once you start using the Mohawk Blendal Sticks, but don't put them away because you will still need the Mohawk Blendal Powders. You can easily blend the colors to accomplish a perfect match with Blendal Sticks, and they are available in thirty-six colors. Mohawk Blendal Sticks are very easy to use and absolutely must be top coated with a finish to seal in the touch up. Custom color matching is available. Also available in 12 pack assortments or a 36 pack assortment.

Mohawk Wood Touch-Up Products Mohawk wood filler EPOXY PUTTY-5 MINUTE The World's Strongest Putty! Bonds To: Plastic, Fiberglass, Brass, Nylon, Aluminum, Glass and Wood. Large defects can be filled with Mohawk's 5 minute Epoxy Putty without the need of any special tools like heating irons, alcohol torches, or knife ovens. The two part Epoxy Putty consist of a RESIN and HARDENER which are mixed in equal parts. This mixture dries in five minutes and is non-shrinking. Excellent for filling large holes, broken corners, etc.

Mohawk brand Blendal Powder Stain (Pigment Type).
Extra fine ground touch-up pigment colors used for spot color replacement on all types of furniture, cabinets, plastics, leather, vinyl and in hundreds of other finishing applications. When applied to areas that need color replacement this product works great used dry and applied lightly with a dry brush. Dry application allows for better control and even application. It may require repeated applications and it is applied like dry powder makeup. Seal in with a light clear coat and repeat as necessary. Other useful techniques include applying with Mohawk LACOVER padding finish. Compatible with various other padding agents, Mohawk French Polish lacquer, shellac, varnish, synthetic finishes and Mohawk Graining Liquid. Apply with a "padding pad" or brush. Sold by volume measure. This is a very versatile Mohawk finishing touch up product and something we use on a daily basis.

Mohawk Imported Metal Composition Leaf gives a striking and rich effect similar to Gold Leaf at a much lower cost. Widely used in interior decorating, gilding, picture frames, furniture and art object. Sizing Liquid is required for applying the leaf. Mohawk Metal Composition Leaf is priced per book, 25 Sheets per Book.
Mohawk Furniture Finishing Products Clear Sizing Liquid is used with Gold and Silver Leaf products. This Mohawk finishing products is fast drying, very little color. Drying can be slowed up by adding a small amount of boiled linseed oil, may be colored with Universal Colors.
Mohawk Finishing Products
Mohawk concentrated lining grade bronzing colors free of fillers and extenders. This product is used to decorate picture frames, furniture, lamps, antique objects and many other items. For extra bright effects, highlighting is effective. Raised portions of a frame can be burnished to a higher luster thus creating a contrast with the rest of the work. Sold by volume, some settling may occur.

This is a brushing type clear liquid lacquer used with Blendal Powder Stains for spot brush touch-up and coloring edges. This Mohawk product stays wet on the brush, dries in minutes on the repaired surface. Mohawk claims this product is a must in every finisher's kit for use in areas where the "padding" method is not practical. To lay the color flat without build up use Two Minute Touch-up™ Solvent.

The Pro-Mark capillary marker features excellent flow. Whether you need to touch-up 1 inch or 20 feet, the Pro-Mark Marker does it the first time and every time. The colors are the most fade resistant; the most resistant to color shift from top coating and have the best bleed resistance. The nib offers superior flow along with the durability needed to do all normal repair work. The nib remains usable for the life of the marker. This marker marks equally well with the edge, the bottom or the tip. Good adhesion to most surfaces and resistance to polishes are built into the Pro-Mark Marker. Custom color matching is available with minimum order of 72 per color.
Mohawk Micro-Mesh is a collection of very fine grade abrasive pads in 7 grades used for fine scratch removal. The finest grit-12,000 is capable of polishing a finished surface to a semi gloss and even a high gloss surface. Mohawk Micro-Mesh is commonly used on polyester or acrylic surfaces to achieve super-high gloss. Mohawk Micro-Mesh is sold 4 per package, 3" x 6".
Mohawk is your best choice for general purpose cleaning and finishing a variety of surfaces. Fast cutting Non-Woven Hand Pads leave a more consistent finish than steel wool, wire brushes, and other non-woven hand pads. This Mohawk finishing product can be used with water or solvents. Mohawk Non Woven Hand Pads will not rust. Use as a final step when generating matte finishes on some solid surface countertops. Mohawk Non Woven Hand Pads are sold by the pad.
Steel wool is a great flexible alternative to sanding. This product is perfect for curved and ornate woodwork. It is also suitable for use with most strippers and refinishers. Steel wool moves old finishes without harming original surfaces. This product is recommended for use with most stains, lacquers and protective finishes. Steel wool is ideal for cleaning and removing rust from metal surfaces.
Cork Block is used with all types of sandpaper and finishing paper for a level sanding job. 4"x2"x1".
Felt Block is a semi-hard felt, recommended for fine hand rubbing on all finishes. 4"x2"x1".
Rubber Block- Designed to fit the hand comfortably, this Rubber Block is always a flat surface. It will never swell or warp when wet, and never shallow out a repair. Use with nylon abrasive pads for uniform scuff sanding. Cover with micromesh paper for hi-gloss finishes. Cover with cloth for use with water base compound or solvent base compound for buffing. 3 3/4"x 2"x1".
Bril-Glow Mild Abrasive Restores new look of finished surfaces. Removes surface scratches. Applied as a polish and then buffed until the original beauty of the finish is restored. Mohawk Bril-Glow is sold in 1 Quart bottles.
Mohawk finishing Flat Lube Concentrated Paste Flattener is used with water and a steel wool pad to produce a satin or flat sheen finish. This product cleans easily. Mohawk Flat Lube Paste leaves a surface completely free from residue. Apply with 3/0 or 4/0 steel wool depending upon how flat of a sheen is desired. Mohawk finishing Flat Lube eliminates hairline scratches. Ideal for oil walnut finishes.
Level I, Low Sheen Rubbing Compound is a semi-paste, fine abrasive compound for rubbing down lacquer, shellac and most other finishes. Removes minor surface imperfections and overspray on spot repairs. Use Neutral on white and light colored surfaces. Black is ideal for darker finishes. Use for hand or machine buffing.
Level II, Step 1 Liquid Rubbing Compound is used to remove overspray and wet sanding scratches on conventional and modern high tech finishes. Mohawk Level II Liquid Rubbing Compound yields a high satin sheen. Use for hand or machine buffing.
Mohawk wood finishing product Level II, Step 2 Liquid Polishing Compound chemically cleans and polishes while removing Step 1 compound scratches and swirl marks. Mohawk wood finishing product Level II, Step 2 Liquid Polishing Compound yields medium gloss sheen. Use for hand or machine buffing.
Mohawk Level II, Step 3 Liquid Finishing Compound removes swirl marks from Step 2 Polishing Compound and increases surface gloss. Mohawk Level II, Step 3 Liquid Finishing Compound leaves a "polished" look. Use for hand or machine buffing.
Mohawk finishing product Level III "Poly-Buf" Rubbing Compound is used after Step 3 Finishing Compounds to achieve the high gloss "wet look". Use medium grade for initial rubbing of refinished surface. Use fine grade for rubbing fine scratches. Use extra fine grade for extra fine scratches and to increase gloss.
Rubbing Pads are used for hand application of rubbing compounds for spot repair. Mohawk Rubbing Pads are sold 4 per package.
Mohawk Pumice Stone, 4F Grit produces a soft luster. Use to produce a smooth finish after applying the final coat of lacquer or varnish. Apply with rub-cut pound package.
Rotten Stone produces a high gloss finish. This is a powdered abrasive for achieving a mirror-like finish on various coatings. Mohawk Rotten Stone is an extra fine cutting and smoothing properties. Mohawk Rotten Stone can be applied with water or Rub-Cut-Oil. Mohawk Rotten Stone is often employed after a finish has been rubbed with Pumice Stone. Available in a 5 pound bag.
Mohawk wood finishing Rub Cut Oil also known as Paraffin Oil is designed as a rubbing agent for use with abrasive papers, pumice stone, rotten stone etc. Formulation of fine chemical abrasives and cutting oils speeds rubbing and leveling. Available in one 1 gallon.
Mohawk Wool Lube also known as wool wax is a concentrated lubricant that eliminates the need for rubbing oil and solvents. This rubbing lubricant is a multi-purpose rubbing compound in either liquid or paste form made to prepare all finished wood surfaces. Water soluble, nontoxic, contains no silicones. Excellent for removing pack marks. Mohawk Wool Lube gives a smooth clear finish. Use with steel wool or abrasive pads. Furniture rubbed with Wool-Lube rubbing lubricant may be re-coated with lacquer or wax with good adhesion. Finally, Wool-Lube rubbing lubricant does not gum up on the finished surface. Just wipe clean with a cloth and the furniture is ready to be waxed or polished.
Premium Garnet material used in hand, fine finish type sanding, or sanding undercoats of finishing materials. This product offers a "softer" cut that leaves a smoother surface.
B-Weight Silicon Carbide paper, resin over glue bond, semi-open coat top-coated with Zinc Stearate dry lubricant. carbide sand paper is suitable for sanding contoured or flat surfaces by hand, with sanding blocks, or on vibrating sanders.
