Densified Dacron - Upholstery Foam Substitute

This dacron product is an excellent substitute for foam and is used most commonly in outdoor cushions, because it's a condenced polyester fiber. This means that, unlike foam, it will not soak up water like a sponge and create mold and mildew. Instead, it allows water to pass through it and either drip out, or allow the sun to evaporate what's left over. The densified dacron that we sell comes in two different densities: firm (2.0) and soft (1.2). The firm density is generally used for seat cushions, and the soft one is usually used for back cushions for outdoor upholstery. Our densified dacron is available in 1", 2", 3", 4", 5" or 6" thicknesses in full sheets, half sheets or quarters.
